Los Angeles International Airport is in the process of constructing a brand-new rental car facility. This facility is known as the LAX ConRAC (Los Angeles International Airport Consolidated Rent-A-Car). LAX is looking towards the future of travel and eliminating the need for rental car shuttles by allocating a 6.3 million square foot building for the sole purpose of housing rental cars.

LAX ConRAC will be available to the public by short tram ride from the main terminals of the airport. The facility will be home to 21,000 vehicles, and will be roughly the size of the Pentagon, making it the largest rental car facility in the world.
